Ø  Interconnects Office Locations and Metropolitan Area (like Large City e.g. open Wi-Fi in Bangalore (India))

Ø  Very High speed Connectivity
Ø  Redundant

        Pan (Personal Area Network)
Ø  Interconnects two or more devices
Ø  Limited Distance
Ø  Limited Throughput

         Can (Campus Area Network)

Ø  High Speed
Ø  Interconnects Nearby Buildings (Fiber optic cabling)
Ø  Easy to Add Redundancy
