Single Area OSPF Configuration (Part-2)


 
       Ø  Router1(config)#interface serial 1/1
Ø  Router1(config-if)#ip address 172.16.16.2 255.255.255.252
Ø  Router1(config-if)#clock rate 64000
Ø  Router1(config-if)#no shut
Ø  Router1(config-if)#exit

Ø  Router1(config)#interface serial 1/0
Ø  Router1(config-if)#ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.252
Ø  Router1(config-if)#clock rate 64000
Ø  Router1(config-if)#no shut
Ø  Router1(config-if)#exit

{Configure OSPF}
Ø  Router1(config)#router ospf 1     {Process id}
Ø  Router1(config-router)#network 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.3 area 0
Ø  Router1(config-router)#network 172.16.16.0 0.0.0.3 area 0
Ø  Router1(config-router)#exit
Ø  Router1#copy running-config startup-config          {Save the Configuration}

{Router 2 Configuration}
Ø  Router2(config)#interface serial 1/0
Ø  Router2(config-if)#ip address 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.252
Ø  Router2(config-if)#no shut
Ø  Router2(config-if)#exit

Ø  Router2(config)#interface fastEthernet 0/0
Ø  Router2(config-if)#ip address 10.250.250.1 255.255.255.0
Ø  Router2(config-if)#no shut
Ø  Router2(config-if)#exit

{OSPF Configuration}
Ø  Router2(config)#router ospf 20             (any Process id}
Ø  Router2(config-router)#network 10.250.250.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
Ø  Router2(config-router)#network 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.3 area 0
Ø  Router2(config-router)#exit
Ø  Router2#copy running-config startup-config          {Save the Configuration}

{Router 3 Configuration}
Ø  Router3(config)#interface serial 1/1
Ø  Router3(config-if)#ip address 172.16.16.1 255.255.255.252
Ø  Router3(config-if)#no shut
Ø  Router3(config-if)#exit

Ø  Router3(config)#interface fastEthernet 0/0
Ø  Router3(config-if)#ip address 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.0

Ø  Router2#copy running-config startup-config          {Save the Configuration}
