EIGRP Neighbor Authentication

{In EIGRP we create Key Chain which we specify the Password to Authenticate the other Routers}
{After We Implement the Key chain in Router Interfaces}
{We use MD5 (128 bits) Authentication}

Ø  ROUTER1(config)#key chain DEMO     {Demo:- key chain Name (any)
Ø  ROUTER1(config-keychain)#key 1          {1: key no {any} But Same in all routers}
Ø  ROUTER1(config-keychain-key)#key-string cisco       {cisco :- Password same in all routers}
Ø  ROUTER1(config-keychain-key)#exit

{Now Implement the Key Chain in interfaces of routers}
Ø  ROUTER1(config-if)#interface serial 0/1
Ø  ROUTER1(config-if)#ip authentication key-chain eigrp 10 DEMO
Ø  ROUTER1(config-if)#ip authentication mode eigrp 10 md5
Ø  ROUTER1(config-if)#exit

Ø  ROUTER1(config)#interface fastEthernet 0/1
Ø  ROUTER1(config-if)#ip authentication mode eigrp 10 md5
Ø  ROUTER1(config-if)# ip authentication key-chain eigrp 10 DEMO

Ø  ROUTER1(config)#interface f1/0
Ø  ROUTER1(config-if)# ip authentication mode eigrp 10 md5
